Prof. Dr. Alexander V. Mirtchev, LLM, PhD is an American academic, executive, entrepreneur, and philanthropist. He is an expert in geopolitics, global economic security, and political risk mitigation. He is the author of The Prologue: The Alternative Energy Megatrend in the Age of Great Power Competition , a book that explores the intersection of alternative energy, geopolitics, and national security. Dr. Mirtchev’s personal interests include classical philosophy, opera and art. Befittingly, he is the curator of the Hellenistic Tanagra Figurine Education Initiative, a member of the James Madison Council at the U.S. Library of Congress and the National Museum of Women in the Arts.
